Joe was involved in a motor vehicle accident on 24 June 2013. He was hit by a person under the influence of alcohol at a robot. Joe sustained a head injury as well as a spinal cord injury.

Despite his disability and obsticles along thiese 5 years. Joe is an inspiration to his family and friends and people he meets with a smile on his face and a fighting spirit, He has adapted to a strict excersise program withe a personal assistant training Joe every day. He has reach a point where he has built up his upper body where it has gained muscle and strength and mobility. He now wants to pursue his dream to walk again.

The treatment includes stem cell therapy and an epidural stimulator will be inserted into his lower back. The stimulator assists with leg movement with assistance and extensive rehab therapy and he will likely walk with a walker. This would be a dream come true for Joe after so many years be able to walk. It will improve with symptoms such as severe nerve pain, blood pressure, blood circulation, irregular body temperature and bowel movement.

From being told he would not breathe, eat move his arns, hands or walk again. He was determined to work through these obstacles and get this stage.He now needs financial help to obtain his dream of walking again.
