She may appear healthy in your eyes but every day is a blessing and I always thank GOD that she is alive.

Last Dec. 7, 2018 our mother had her routine check up; because she has aortic aneurysm; so the doctor read and interpreted to us the findings of her latest ct scan (which she has every 6 months). These are the findings: Ascending aorta mildly dilated measuring 4.1 cm. The maximum dilation of the dilated proximal descending aorta measures 5.6 cm. The problem is the dilated descending aorta has a saccular aneurysm measuring 2.9x2.2x2.5 cm (previously (2.5 x 2.3 x 2.3 cm) with neck of 1.4 cm. I know its difficult to understand but what it basically means is that she is in need of a surgery ASAP. Most probably an open heart surgery. We asked 4 doctors (2 cardiologists and 2 heart surgeons) and all of them says the same thing, that this time our mom needs the surgery ASAP. They all want it as soon as January 2019. All the doctors say that she is like a ticking bomb and her aorta may burst anytime which could be fatal.

The surgery will cost about Php1-1.5 million and to even get a slot for the surgery in Philippine heart center we will need to pay the down-payment of Php 500,000. Then they might be able to schedule her within 3 weeks in God's will. It's almost the end of January and we are still unable to schedule her for the surgery due to the lack of funds. Every day is scary because everyday there is a chance of her aorta bursting and a risk of losing her. Which is why we're asking for your help. Your prayers are very much in need as well.
