Guinness record in Taekwondo .. medals .. waiting for help

Taekwondo martial arts, one of the game, a Chennai-based youth has been mixed. Udayakumar, a 22-year-old college student from Thuraipakkam, is the only Indian to qualify for the 2019 American World Open Taekwondo championship.

Uthayakumar, who is interested in Taekwondo since childhood, is trained by trainer Venkatesh. The 2016 national championship at Madagara, Dehgondo has won the gold medal in the Championship and continues to pursue intense training.

Uthayakumar, who trained in the Lite Division (74 kg), won gold in the South Asian Taekwondo Championship in Chennai in 2017. Uthayakumar's interest in the notoriously untapped Taekwondo game provoked him to win medals in the state, national and South Asian Games.

Uthayakumar picked up medals and did not leave the Guinness record. In 2017, he performed a Guinness record for a 30-minute stroke of the Taekwondo game called 'Boomse' . Uthayakumar, who is ready for the second record, has applied for Guinness record 2200 times as 'Slap Kick' for 60 minutes.

At the internationally held Taekwondo tournaments, it was the first time in 2000 that it was added to the Olympics. Taekwondo sports recognized in the Sydney Olympics, including the list of hazardous games of the Olympic Games. Uthayakumar can only qualify for the Olympic series if only to participate in international matches.

Uthayakumar, who is eligible to qualify for the 2019 American World Open Taekwondo Championship, has been having trouble participating in the series due to financial crisis. The only player who has been selected from India for the series to be held in February is expecting financial assistance
