Dear supporters,

Our small team tackled successfully big challenges during 2018. We stretched and exhausted our resources in order to help many distressed stray kittens and cats. The S.O.S. calls were happening on a daily basis. We did our very best to answer as many as possible. The highlight of our work during the past year is the dramatic rescue of the 17 Orphans from Karnobat. Our dear friend and foster mum Svetlana Voynova died unexpectedly in November and her relatives who inherited her house gave us ultimatum to remove the cats or they were going to get rid of them. To read the full story, please click on the following link: A SORROWFUL PLEA FOR HELP FOR 17 CATS IN DISTRESS

Thankfully, we managed to find two new foster homes for nine of the kitties and literally squeezed the rest (eight cats) in an existing foster home in Varna region. Sadly, we didn't receive the support we needed and had to work under extremely difficult circumstances - we were understaffed and underfunded. Our previous fundraiser did not reach the financial goal. It raised just half of the funds we needed to meet comfortably the expenses related to the orphans' relocation.

We need your help again - to buy kitty food, toilet, vaccines and other essentials for our 55 cats & kittens and the colony of stray cats we feed in Burgas region.

Six of the ex-Karnobat orphans had already settled in their new foster homes. The rest are still recovering from their 2-months ordeal in Svetla's house, where they lived in constant fear, without any heating (the relatives cut of the electricity, despite that we paid the bills) and without their loving mum. We worked very hard to get them out of there as fast as possible. Sadly, it wasn't fast enough. The cats are traumatized and it will take us a while to rehabilitate and re-socialize them.

We've included photos of the kitties on the days of their departure from Karnobat and a collage of the bravest four darlings who have already settled. As we are not allowed to add more pics to the main story, we placed these onto the "Updates" section.

Please, donate to help us continue our important rescue work.

Thank you!
