Our papa Rolando Mangahas is currently admitted at the ICU in Capitol Medical Center in Quezon Avenue due to stroke. Last January 7, he was rushed at Sacred heart hospital in Malolos due to severe headache and he was declared under comatose. He was transported via ambulance in Quezon City and we were advised that papa must be in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) because he was in a delicate situation and close monitoring is much needed. CT scan and CT angiogram tests were done and He underwent 4 vessel Cerebral Angiogram procedure to check where the blood clot started and how it went to his brain that resulted to Subarachnoid Hemorrhage (the procedure alone costs P45,000. Excluding Doctors professional fee, medications and hospitalization)
Papa has an active lifestyle and that's what makes him a good fighter. He is fighting a good fight and we are very proud of him. He might be under comatose for days but he's quite responsive when we talk. Our papa is a wonderful person, we love him so dearly and we miss him so bad.
