Campaign Story
Meet Baby Rara born December 13, 2018, he has “Tracheo Esophageal Fistula”. His esophagus did not develop properly and did not connect to his stomach.
This little fighter needs help. Please pray for baby Rara and we are also asking for any amount for his upcoming surgery.
His hospital bill has already accumulated to more than P100K and he already has one surgery. The first one to put a hole in his stomach so that he can release gas and not be bloated, this is temporary. He needs another surgery to finally connect his stomach and esophagus. The schedule is on hold due to his low platelet count. The cause if which is a bacterial infection that he contracted inside the hospital. Any amount will surely be a big help for baby Rara and his family.
You can also directly donate funds to his mother through the following details:

FAQs
1. Where is he staying?
He is currently in the NICU of National Children’s Hospital.
2. Why are we raising funds?
He has been in the hospital for over a month now and as you can imagine the bill is continuously growing, this is an initiative from the parent’s friends and colleagues.
3. When will the surgery be done?
His doctors cannot tell when they can have the surgery yet, because his platelet is way below the normal count. He needs to have enough platelet count before they can conduct the surgery and recently the count has been very low.
Again, thank you and we appreciate your help and concern.

Thank you for your support
Update posted by Karla Dimaliuat at 01:44 amAfter all the efforts and support, our little fighter sadly passed last Jan. 20, 2019. His platelet count and RBC has dropped drastically followed by all of his vital fluids. We still ask for your support for the family so they can give him a proper burial. Again thank you
Update 1
Update posted by Karla Dimaliuat at 02:55 pmRara’s platelet count is still lower than normal. He will have another blood transfusion (2 bags)Update on his bacterial infection:Klebsiella Pneumoniae - normally contracted in a hospital or healthcare setting and is spread through direct person-to-person contact. This is what’s causing his platelet to go down
