Campaign Story
Like any family, our Dad has always been our stronghold. Being his only son, he was my rock, my mentor, and my role model. He is probably the most hardworking person I know— having worked for more than three decades as a loyal machine operator, he had dedicated his life to provide for us.
However, on Christmas day of 2018, my Dad, who is now 65 years old, was rushed to the Philippine Heart Center due to an apparent heart failure. Angiography showed that there is 95% blockage in the main artery of his heart. The only possible way for him to get through this is to have a bypass operation.
Our family is knocking to your hearts because we have already used up all our family savings for his hospitalization bills. Our father only has us— my mother, my sister, and me to look after him. The bypass operation will cost an additional Php700,000 to Php1,000,000 (20,000USD) and our family wants to explore all possible ways so we can still prolong his life and take care of him, in the very same manner he took care of us. We are against time as he is still in a critical condition— he could suffer a major cardiac arrest anytime now unless he undergoes the bypass operation.
Any amount from you will be able to help us so we could schedule his operation the soonest.

Elevated Blood Sugar level and node in the lungs
Update posted by Cris Rioflorido at 08:12 amThe cardiologist of my father informed us that his blood sugar is elevated and his X-Rays results shows that there is a node in his lungs. Because of this, our application for Philhealth's Z Benefit was rejected. We need to get clearance from diabetologist and pulmonologist before we can apply
Applying for Z Benefit of PhilHealth
Update posted by Cris Rioflorido at 09:20 amWe tried applying for the Z Benefit of PhilHealth but we just found out that there is water in his lungs so we need to treat it first before we can submit the requirements again. My father is now taking antibiotics to treat the water in his lungs.
