Make happiness be free!

My name is Dmitrij, im trying to make a push for a city which is folling down by the population, young people is leaving as the place offer no self groving opportunities :(

I need your help 😊

I’m working on a project, project which is designed to improve the world, not the whole world for now…. for now I want to start from my hometown, it’s a city in Lithuania, with population of 20.000 people.

My dream, which I’m trying to make to became be true – it’s to create a place where people could come to have a nice evening, create new hobbies, improve they skills and knowledge, communicate between them, place where they would be able to create, create anything they want, that can be music, videos (vlogs), own projects, public projects, help to each other and create a new atmosphere of good mood and friendship and (I hope) happiness.

A little bit about my city:

Name: Visaginas

Current population: 20.000

Location: Lithuania

History and problems: Our city-forming industry was the Nuclear Power plant which has been closed on 31st December of 2009, since that day the atmosphere in my city is not positive anymore, a lot of people is in depression, thinking that city is dying (I’ve been one of those people) the investments of money to the city and people of my city became almost to 0, for now, the only attractions there are the gastro-service (cafés, bars, pubs, restaurants) our people need something to do after work (what will be not related to alcohol or food).

Our city it’s a very beautiful and nice place allocated in the middle of forest beside lake.

Unique ecosystem around can be adjusted for perfect rural-truism place.

Also, the atmosphere inside of my city is unique, people from more that 40 countries (nationalities) arrived there in 1975 to build new city for them and their kids, and unfortunately, now the city is place where people has nothing to do and no personal or carrier improving.

About my plan and what I want to reach at the end of this project:

It’s a 10-years plan, how to change the atmosphere of whole city, I want to help and show to the people that the most important resource is not money but the human, the life, the things which are created by them. I want to help them to find their hobby, to improve their skills in different areas of interests, (like not to invite super stars for concerts and to make money - I want to create a group of local superstars to whom will know everyone in my city or even around the world) create new classes, new life style and help to our people start the dialog, between the citizens, between citizens and our local government, between citizens and police, fire fighters, teachers, kids, to attract more tourists to my city (some of you guys been already in Visaginas with me), to show the city to the world and show the world to my city.

Have ideas for 50+ projects which I can try to implement in there in next 12 month.

I want to show to people that live is better that they think, and that not only money can make you be happy, to remove the global dome of depression from whole city, I want my city to have new breath.

My plan is more social but everything in this world cost money, thats why we started the foundraising, to make this project 100% social and free!

I never asked people for money, and it’s very difficult and unusual for me… but in this idea I trust, in this Idea I believe, and I want to do the maximum to make this became to be truth.

At this moment, the company is created with the name “Visagino Atmosfera”, the place is working, you can found it in FB or Instagram if search with word "atmosferavsg". You can see all the projexts done over here for the last few months. Our dream is to continue with this work without the headache that we have to pay the rent and bills and let the people use our services for free!
