Aya was born last December 9, 2018 via emergency c-section. At only 27 weeks, she had to be delivered early due to insufficient blood flow and fetal distress. As Aya was born three months prematurely, she needs specialist medical care in addition to a 2-month stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Currently, she is confined at the University of Perpetual Help DALTA Medical Center (Las Piñas City, Philippines).

Despite all these, our little Aya is a fighter. Today, she was taken off her ventilator--in just 72 hours, she can now breathe on her own! This is why we say, #KayaNiAya! Translation: Aya Can! Nothing is impossible for our little warrior!

There is one thing Aya needs your help with: her hospital bills. In the last 72 hours alone, little Aya's hospital bills have reached a whopping 134,643.82 Philippine pesos or 2,553.99 US dollars. Our initial conservative estimate of her total medical expenses in her first two months of life is Php 850,000 or USD 16,125. This amount is far beyond the reach of her hardworking parents, Dennis and Jencel Anguluan.

In less than two weeks, it will be Aya's first Christmas. If Aya can, and has done the impossible, we hope you can also find it in your hearts to make Christmas real for her and her family. Translate your prayers into action. Donate and help bring Aya home. Together, we can make it happen.

#KayaNiAya, #KayaNatinSamaSama

  • Extending to January 2019 my commitment to contribute to baby Aya’s cause a minor percentage of my earnings at gross, as they come. Truth to tell, my earnings increased this past month of December 2018 compared to Dec. 2017. By giving, i am receiving more.
