OCTOBER 26 UPDATE
I want the deluxe edition to be printed totally in hot foil. Not sure if it will be in gold on black paper, but I want to try to see how it would look like... and I have to said now I want to do it even more! I received some new design over the past few days so I can do these tests...

THE CREATIVES
This year cover is designed by me! After 4 years asking worldwide designers to design it, I have this one in mind since I design the Ephemerid playing cards earlier this year.
For every edition, I ask graphic designer and typographer to create unique font work. This year edition will feature unique designs by Nick Misani, Ginger Monkey Tom Lane , Dan Grett, Peter Voth, Kelsy Stromski, Christian Watson 1924.us, Tuyet Duyet, Reno Orange and more. Some of them are still working on the design and they will be shown as soon as possible!
THE LETTERPRESS PRINTING & STUDIO PRESSION
The calendar is printed in France, at Studio Pression. Letterpress printing has the ability to create relief into paper by adding tons of pressure while printing. It’s called deep impression, or debossing. And it’s done at the same time, printing AND debossing, always one color at a time. The thicker the paper, the deeper the impression. For a crisper effect, we use much harder magnesium plates instead of photopolymer. Here come some pictures of last year printing.
