Rise Again

One day you wake up and all that you own is gone...You only have your family to live for.

June 4,2018 Around 10AM I woke up to a startling screaming of neighbors fleeing their houses due to an upcoming danger. Confused and dizzy, I went to the window to investigate and was shocked to see the fire a few meters away from our house. My legs were numb and I don't know if I should go to the roof of our neighbor to help in putting out the fire or run out of the house. I can't move at that time so I tried to salvage the important things that we need the most starting with my bag with my IDs and some documents. My wife came and told me that the kids are safe away from danger along with our elders. We ran away from the fire and watched our house being burnt into ashes. My wife was crying and I am deep inside. We are all safe. No one got hurt. Physically at least. We lost everything in that fire. We left with nothing but the clothes we wear and some small items. I am thankful for the people who helped and are continuosly helping us in recovering from this tragedy. Slowy we are rebuilding our houses and starting over with what little we have. Recovering and rebuilding will take a long time and I thought of asking help from you to help us in getting our life back. I am the only one working in the family and we have two kids. We need help so we can cover our daily needs and rebuild our house. My salary is just enough to support our basic needs and relief goods and financial assistance the government gave is limited and already stopped a month after the fire incident. Any small amount will be highly appreciated.
