Hi Friends!

UPDATE 10/10/18

Lady is back in the hospital with jaundice. She just needs time and fluids as the pancreatitis is causing this. She's in great spirits and we caught it early which makes things easier to treat! *Our estime was $948 amd we need $558 to pay for her care today 10/10/18

Thank you!!

As most of you know Lady Cherie is a chronically ill dog. Right now Lady is very sick! She has Chronic acute pancreatitis and she has had a severe flare up. This is her second hospitalization in 2 weeks unfortunately this time is worse.

Lady was vomiting uncontrollably Wednesday morning so I took her to the ER where she was admitted. They started medication and fluids to help her but the next day she was worse. She was regurgitating all day, in pain and lethargic. Her ultrasound showed her stomach wall was thick and her pancreas angry. We we're very worried!!

Luckily today she turned a corner! The meds and fluids started to help and she's only regurgitated once! She's not out of the woods yet but we are all so happy that she's a little better.

Lady Cherie also has a UTI that will only respond to specific antibiotics. These antibiotics would be hard on her tummy so we are weighing the pros and cons to both medications to determine which is best with the lowest risk of upsetting her stomach.

Lady's care last week was over $3,000 and thanks to amazing people, we paid it! The past 3 days have been over $3,000 and again with amazing friends, we've paid it all except $300. Today alone was $994-$1,094. Lady's bill tomorrow will be about the same as today's with her course of treatment staying the same.

If anyone can help I would be so grateful! Everything that comes in goes directly to Lady.

Lady won't be coming home possibly till Monday. I set this fundraiser for $2,500. That breaks down to the $300 we have left on her bill today - $1,000 for tomorrow, $1,000 for Sunday and $200 extra to cover fees and if she needs extra meds.

**The hospital does not take call in donations. They have a PayPal but there must be 5 people committed to using it before that can be utilized**

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!

She's better but the bill is due!

Update posted by Ty Frank at 08:09 pm

Lady Cherie is better today! She ate a tiny bit and has kept it down. She just started a new and strong antibiotic for a recurring UTI she has. This means she needs to stay till Monday morning to be sure she doesn't have any reactions. The bill is $908
