Kids Up / Niños Arriba is moving!!! We are moving our equine therapy program for children and adults with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities to a new location and a new community. We have been offered a platform at the top of a landfill overlooking the ocean and a beautiful valley. The property costs $7000 and we are $2000 short of that. Our moving costs should be around $500. New stable, shade, ramp and round pen, bathroom and waiting area with playground will cost $7000. That leaves $2000 to fill and beautify the hill that we are sitting on. Please join us. You can help a community, reclaim the beauty of La Paz, provide a job for horses that people have given up on and embrace a child who is different. Wow, that's a lot of stuff.

  • 140 TOYS FOR KIDS PLEASE HELP ME Very good day everyone, I am in a social project for my community in a region of my country (Venezuela), where due to the strong economic and political situation, many children will not be able to obtain their gifts from the long awaited Christmas and for all these dates are very special because it represents the sharing and love of people, the reason for this is to give those children that smile that both make the world happy and see that despite the difficulties, we can live unforgettable and unique moments. Our goal is to raise funds to buy at least 140 toys for the children of the community. paypal.me/LuisAvb

  • Thank you so much Sylvia and Irene. I don’t check for a while and look what happens! Than you both so much for your kind words and your prayers. It really does make a difference in our kids lives, but also we have a new employee, Don Efraim. He is disabled as well. He lives across the street with his sister. When she asked if he could help us out we thought, of course! He’s an amazing worker and a delight to be around. What a blessing!

We bought the land

Update posted by Susanne Sanders at 02:52 am

Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. On Thanksgiving we closed the sale of the land and Kids Up is now the proud owner of our own property. We are waiting for the estimate on putting up a fence across the back 60 feet so that trucks won't

Our New Location

Update posted by Susanne Sanders at 04:07 pm

We will be in the same area where we are now. You take the road to Las Planes/Bahia de Los Muertos or Suenos, but instead of turning right you turn left. Yes, we are on top of he hill of garbage, but at least in our small spot we are. . . . .

  • This is such a worthwhile organization! We have personally watched the transformation of a child, and also the horse, once the child has been put on it's back. The horse, which was skittish, immediately calmed down when the child hugged it's mane, and the child sat up straight, which was difficult for him, and he was laughing and smiling. It brought tears to our eyes to see the effect they had on each other. Please help support them!
