Papa Ogie’s Hospital Bill Funding

I would like to humbly knock on your generous hearts to pray for the recovery of Papa Ogie and help us raise funds to support his hospital bills and medicine. Any amount of help will be greatly appreciated by our family.

Here is our story:

1AM, after my work shift on September 13, I came home to Papa requesting me to assist him to go to the bathroom. He suffered 3 series of LBM and vomiting in a span of 4 hours that made him weak and dehydrated. On panic mode, my Mama called the barangay ambulance and brought him to the nearest hospital. After the assessment in the ER, we were immediately admitted to the Geriatric Unit of the hospital. During that time I knew that in the coming days, we are going to face one of the dreadful situations in our family.

In mid-June, Papa Ogie was diagnosed with diabetes. He looked healthy then but as days passed, we noticed that his health was deteriorating. During that time, he cannot eat and drink well as he tends to vomit everything that he's taking in. The doctor even decreased the dosage of the drug but this did not change his appetite.

In a span of almost 1 week and 4 days in the hospital, he had 3 hemodialysis treatment, a series of laboratory tests, and very expensive antibiotics to fight the complications.

Currently, he's being taken care in the Progressive Care Unit of the hospital after he was revived (Literally, he was brought back to life since he had no pulse!) during the night of September 25.

Indeed, we are very grateful to the Lord Almighty for giving us more time to spend time with Papa Ogie. However, this entails Mama and I to stretch out our pockets to support his hospital bill and medicine requirements during this time.
