Renewable energy, its creation and its use, have become something of a boring subject due to the way they are presented. This by itself is enough to stall progress and understanding. And there is no real central location to go to for a view of progress across a spectrum of technologies.

With The New Energy Focus, I will start to change that with both a website, and a magazine that is currently planned for quarterly issue.

***

The New Energy Focus will be a focal point for the latest information that is insightful while being entertaining and attention capturing. The secret will be in subject matter which will include articles on things people will find genuine interest in. I feel will start to break down some of the barriers, and biases, that surround the understanding of alternative energy and its use.

Along with information on the research, technology, and developments of energy we will also provide more exciting information on some of the uses of energy in the latest products.

Will people who disdain electric cars feel the same when reading about such cars as the Alieno Hypercar claiming 5221hp, or the latest model from Rimac? After reading about those, maybe they’ll be more interested in Honda's newly revealed Sports EV Concept - likely to become daily drivers for more people in the future.

With motorcycles, even Harley Davidson is now offering an electric variant with the development of their HD LiveWire … that may open some traditional eyes to see the works of established manufacturers such as Zero Motorcycles.

Flying cars are still not here, but the age of personal electric flying craft is. Dubai is about to premiere the Ehang flying drone as a sort of airborne taxi service, and Uber themselves commissioned a selection of architects and designers to design conceptual service hubs for their vehicles designed in collaboration with Embraer.

We will have a whole section on architecture, as the race to create efficiency in structures covers everything from vacation "pods" to residential homes, all the way through to commercial buildings and hotels. We'll showcase the already constructed and the conceptual - with an example being the design for condos mounted on wind generator towers on land and in the ocean.

Even boats and yachts are undergoing their own revolution, as demand grows for cleaner running and greater economy. The upside of the technology being incorporated is also quiet running and peaceful anchorages. Wait until you see the new Hinckley electric Dasher yacht and the Q Yacht Q30, then follow progress of the Energy Observer, the first real hydrogen powered yacht that processes seawater into hydrogen for propulsion.

PROGRESS

To get started we have launched our temporary website, and will be upgrading it to the full informational site as fast as possible. This will mean we will be spending the next several weeks contacting as many people as possible in the industry and gathering information and images. With this we will begin populating the site with as much of the latest information as possible

The magazine is in preliminary design, and is already starting to get exciting.

We’ll feature the look of the magazine right away on our website, and will keep everyone updated on its progress through the stages of design and growing content via a live link on the website to the latest stage of completion.

The Premiere Issue will be sent out in early November of 2018.

The magazine will be available digitally at no cost, worldwide, and we’re planning on a limited run of print pieces for promotional and special use as well.

That’s it for right now.

I really hope you see value in what I’m doing, and choose to help me in my endeavor. I will really appreciate it. Thank you!
