We know what you may be reading is very common and might seem to be unimportant but We are really in need of great help and I will do anything and everything for my twins. Camilla is a happy baby, she smiles alot, she finds joy in every situation and I wish and hope to give her more especially a better life. I will never be too proud to beg. Thank you very much in advance and may God Bless you more and always!

Maria Camilla A.Manlapas

2nd of twin or twin b

Fraternal twins

Prematurely born at 28 weeks

March 09,2017

The twins were confined at the nicu for 55 days

Both battled premature complications,illnesses,diseases,conditions

Twins came out of the nicu and the hospital last May 03,2017 total bill was 4.7m for both babies. We Left a balance of 900,000++

With a monthly interest of 1% each month

We never missed a payment, never late with payments.

We have been denied confinement to this hospital twice because of our balance but this is not something we agreed on or part of the contract.

A Complaint was already sent to DOH(no response) to the hospital itslef (no response) and JCI (responded stating they will do an investigation)

Maria Carmela A. Manlapas (Twin A)- strong, healthier, with minor heart condition (mitral valve regurgitation) gets better each check up and 2decho only ordered 2x a year.

Maria Camilla A. Manlapas (Twin b)- ( reason for this fund raising campaign)

1.) she had cranial hemmorhage because of premature birth. This hemmorhage was said to be resolving when we left the nicu but we were advised to see a neuro pedia regularly.

3.) after 3 months the cranial hemmorhage became a porencephalic cyst and there is a space because of the brain injury

4.) the space that the injury created is now being filled with water

5.) our baby has hydrocephalus. Her head is not yet large because the water goes to the space but we need further tests to see if we need a shunt to be placed in asap to remove unwanted water in the brain.

6.) she is hypotonic and spastic especially on her lower extremities ( she cannot sit on her own, cannot stand, cannot roll over or crawl)

7.) she can move both arms and hands but her left hand is weaker and seems to be fisting most of the time.

8.) she cannot swallow well (because of this she often has cough and worst pneumonia)

9.) her eyes are graded 250 both she is now wearing glasses and regularly seeing an optha pedia.

10.) her kidneys malfunctioned while her heart (pda) was being treated in the nicu

What have we been doing to support the twins and one of them Has special needs

My husband has been working ever since and we both have been trying our best to get home based jobs and sidelines to support our twins. We are also having our medical procedures and lab tests done at a different/cheaper hospitals if possible.

We admit it has been very tough and we need help.

Maria Camilla (twin B) has made great progress. Our daughter is our champion. We beleive in her and we trust her. In her own time,in Gods time. We beleive that the God our creator will heal our precious daughter. We do not want to give up and we want to give her everything that she needs so she can live a better life. Our goal is for her to be self sufficient because we will not be with her forever.

We need help because:

1.) we have a balance in the hopsital that we are paying for monthly

2.) Occupational therapy

3.) Physical therapy

4.) on going lab tests (blood chem every month)

5.) on going medical procedures (mri, xray,ct scan,2decho,transcranial doppler)

6.) check ups ,clearances from multiple doctors on different areas (general pedia, neuro pedia, cardio pedia, optha pedia, nephro pedia and many more)

7.) we have twins

8.) we have acquired debts in order to pay The hospital where the twins were born and it hasbeen really tough financially eversince.

Determination of Twin B’s Operation

Update posted by Prima Roqueza Manlapas at 05:55 am

Camilla had a Transcranial Doppler done earlier today. We are hopeful for a more positive and favourable result.Transcranial doppler ultrasound (TCD) is a non-invasive ultrasound method used to examine the blood circulation within the brain. Your doctor has recommended that you have this test to determine the amount of blood. . . . .
