The aim of the project is to provide more possibilities for
physical activity, commuting, social interaction and skills learning by
providing bicycles, but also methodology and partnerships for cycling and bike-mechanics lessons, bicycle
stations and bike-sharing system
for the refugees.
Greenways SCE started in November 2015 the project “Learn how to cycle with safety : Women with immigrant or refugee background” that and has has been selected from ISCA (International Sport and Culture Association) under MOVE Quality project for initiatives which inspire more people to be physically active from hard-to-reach populations. In this on going 12-month long development process , a Theory Of Change has been created with the participation of Municipality of Thessaloniki and Ergani NGO and with the consultations from ISCA staff, from external experts in relevant fields and from an advisory board in order to develop a shared understanding of the project, for Monitoring and Evaluation and for the communication with external and internal stakeholders among others.
