Hope for Jemil

Good day everyone!

My sister, Jemil Bernal, was diagnosed with End-Stage Kidney Failure and has been under dialysis treatment for 10 years already. We are grateful to the Lord, as well as to all of our relatives and friends, who are generous enough to share their blessings with our family.

Our government, through Philhealth, is giving free 90 sessions to all dialysis patients. However, once it's all used up, the patient will shoulder all the expenses. The benefits of Philhealth is limited, and PCSO offers help for medicines only, and not the treatment.

We are able to sustain her through extensive efforts of the whole family. We have given everything that we can, and if we still have more to give, we would not ask.

We are again appealing - to all our relatives, friends, and to those who have read our story - to help us raise funds for my beloved sister, to sustain her dialysis treatment and maintain her medicines, especially at this time of the year.

My sister is full of hope, and her unwavering fighting spirit motivates us to face whatever adversity life brings.

I hope you could also offer a little prayer for my sister, for her recovery, for her to be protected from any infection.

Lord, please continue to strengthen us and empower us to stay faithful all throughout this journey. In Jesus name, Amen.
