6 YEARS OF NOT BEING ABLE TO GRIEVE PROPERLY

Our miracle baby son Andrew “AJ” Jeremy bounced into our lives on 13th January 2012 and he made our world complete. He was the air we breathed, the light of our lives and the missing link we didn’t even know was missing. AJ brought with him an abundance of joy and love we never knew existed. He made the world a more beautiful place in which to live and we wanted everyone to share in his love and in our joy; we wanted everyone to know how proud and blessed we were that he was ours as we documented his precious life – not ever thinking for one moment that it would be so short. Not even when we realised he was a sickly baby. We had dreams and plans for a wonderful future for him and with him, just like all parents have. Mike had his father and son sports weekends fully mapped out for at least the next 18 years and he was convinced that AJ wouldn’t have a problem with me “tagging along”. But then only 10 weeks laterour world and our hearts shattered as suddenlyand tragically our darling AJ stopped breathing! Our beautiful baby whom we loved more than life itself was gone from our lives. Light gave way to darkness and joy gave way to sorrow. We were and are living every parent’s worst nightmare...

BUT ANOTHER NIGHTMARE WAS ALSO TO ENGULF US

For the past 6 years we have had to relive AJ’s tragic death over and over and over again without any real sense of grieving properly and without proper time to truly cherish his short but precious life, as the state of New Jersey prosecutors with an undoubtedly misguided agenda seemingly decided someone had to be made an example of and that someone became Mike.

WAITED SIX YEARS TO BE HEARD IN COURT

Nothing was followed up or investigated until 2018 - six years later

Experts proved there was a blood disorder that caused a stroke

AJ had feeding issues so he was fed with multiple breast milk syringes daily

The State made a case with little evidence and minimal notes

AJ HAD 18 DOCTOR VISITS WITH 6 DIFFEREST PHYSICIAN GROUPS -ALL SAID HE HAD DILLIGENT PARENTSWHO DIDN’T HIDE FROM ANYONE

And yet, shockingly, a jury found Mike guilty. Where’s the justice in that?

With systems and prosecutors you couldn’t even imagine in your worst nightmare. We were already living ours with the sudden and tragic death of our darling baby son AJ.

We will not stop until we get Justice!!! Our judicial System is not fair.

Many organizations don’t work in New Jersey for many strange and unknown reasons.

We only want to fight for Mike Marrara’s rights to justice – everyone’s basic human right.
