Please help fund my mom’s medical costs as she battles Stage 4 Breast Cancer

This is my mom, Amparo Teresa M. Loya. She is 79 years old and was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer) Stage III-C in January this year. She underwent Modified Radical Mastectomy last January 29th.

After her surgery, she was prescribed to take Anazole, an oral chemotherapy pill once a day. However, my mother has been saying that she feels weaker and weaker by the day. We thought that this was just the side effect of taking Anazole. Three weeks ago, she complained of severe pain in her hip. Her doctor requested for a bone scan and was scheduled for the procedure on April 7th. Yesterday, April 10, I picked up the results and sadly, the cancer has now spread to her left hip bone. The disease has progressed to Stage IV due to the discovery of the bone metastasis. This crushed all our hopes, as she is the only parent we have left. We lost our dad to cancer too, 26 years ago.

It is so difficult to see my mom go through the same pain my dad went through. I could only do so much for her. My heart bleeds every time I see her wincing in pain with every attempt to stand up or walk. My once healthy, strong and active mother is now slowly wasting away, battling this horrible disease.

On behalf of my siblings, I am knocking on your kind hearts for any amount of financial help you may extend to cover the purchase of medications, diagnostic tests and other laboratory procedures, and most of all, to give her comfortable and better quality of life while she is still with us. We are trying our best to cope with the expenses but our savings are wearing thin.
