My beloved Mother passed . We are asking for help from the community for funeral expense.

It saddens Us to announce the untimely death of our beloved mother, Doris Moore. Our Mother passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on 03/109/2018 of a massive heart attack, she was only 68 years old. She brought much joy and love to all she knew. There will be a noticeable VOID with her absence.She left so sudden that she could not say goodbye to her 3 children Reginald, Richard, and Nina. My mother's death is not only emotionally devastating but unfortunately, she left with no life insurance. We are reaching out to the community for donations to help offset her final expenses, and if possible to help relieve some of the financial strain we will face at during this devastating time.Devastated. Heartbroken. Crushed. Stunned. Tears for many hours. Grief beyond words. The deepest sorrow and pain is What our, family, and friends are feeling now.

Doris Marie Moore, 68, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on March 9, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital. Doris was born in Indianola, Mississippi, to Roy Short and Queenella Franklin Short on September 14, 1949.

She is survived by her two sons, Reginald Short and Richard Short, of Lancaster, PA and daughter, Nina M. Guerrero of Lancaster, PA. Surviving are four sisters, Ruth Short, Marilyn Short, Luevenia Short, and Patricia Short; six brothers, Leroy Short, Andrew Short, Richard Short, James Short, Hercules Short, Clarence Short. Doris is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Jean Johnson and brother, Robert Short.

Arrangements are being handled by The Groffs Family Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. The memorial service is being held by Pastor Randy Hilton at the Bible Evangelical Methodist Church, 2 Kay Drive, Lancaster, PA on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 12:00 Noon. Please visit Doris's Memorial Page at
