Campaign Story
Early Sunday morning a earthquake hit North East Lombok. It registered 6.4 on the richter scale.Thats big. Many buildings have collapsed and people have died. Please help by donating money that will be spent on water, food, blankets and rebuilding homes and community buildings - like the health clinic that was damaged.
Another bigger earthquake hit on Sunday night, and many more since then. The destruction is mostly in the north, north east and west of Lombok including the famous Gilli Islands. Water, blankets, food, baby needs (like nappies) and first aid items are what is mostly being called for. Jaringan Masyarakat Sipil (JMS) is working with locals from villages most affected and following through on whats needed most. There are many NGO's helping here and we are starting to form partnerships to divide up the work. Thank you for your donations - it is helping. Jodie and Mega
