Cancer Sucks please HELP!

Keleise is a 17 year old young lady and a Niece of mine. She was a year 11 student at Queen Salote College in Nukualofa, Tonga Island.. Her ambition is to become a Lawyer.

Keleise came to New Zealand to visit us in October last year during school holiday. She was all set to return home in November to get ready for her external examination but due to her feeling really ill the night before she was supposed to fly back home, we ended up at the Middlemore Hospital Emergency. She was told then that she is not fit to travel and she needs to have a blood test and a scan to see what's causing the pain. After a couple of days the Doctors finally came around with the most scariest and heart broken news for a 17 year old young lady to hear. They diagnosed her with cancer. With further medical investigation, blood tests and a biopsy going on for a few weeks to find out what type on cancer and what stage she's at, We were finally told that she has stage 4 Lymphoma Cancer.

Sad as it is we were also told that she needs Chemotherapy but due to her not a New Zealand resident every medical bills are not funded it has to be paid by her family. At the time we were told after that assessments that her Chemo will cost $62000. We then worked together with the hospital to send an application for funding of Keleise's Chemo to the Tongan Government. As of now, that application has been approved but when she was having her last assessments before she can starts on Chemo it turned out that her cancer got worse then before. Now the cost for her Chemo has gone up plus the total of her Hospital bills is almost the same ammount as the funds that was granded by the Tongan Government and the family has to pay for that.

This is the reason why im campaigning because Keleise needs 6 cycles of Chemo in oder for her to at least beat 60% of this ugly decease...We as her family are humbly asking for your help so Keleise's can have a chance to finished that 6 cycles of Chemo and pay for her hospital bills.. With your help this beautiful young lady will be able to live and fulfill her dream of becoming a Lawyer in the future. Every cents and every dollar counts.
