Campaign Story
My name is Rio Rosa A. Magpayo, an auntie of the first baby in our family. I'm starting this campaign to raised funds for my precious niece, Baby Aleyah Laureen Magpayo-Marquez.
This is Baby Aleyah, right after she was born.
January 14, 2018, around 10am, Baby Aleyah was born prematurely. She was 2 months short in time, but what's breaks our hearts the most was she was diagnosed having a Jejunal Atresia, a rare case of intestinal abnormality. Baby Aleyah, is unable to take milk because of the intestine obstruction. She vomited the milk she was given few hours after birth so she had to have a tube inserted in her mouth to remove the gas and bile accumulating in her intestines.
Having a premature body is hindering Baby Aleyah to have an immediate surgery, thus, she needs an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) in order for her to mature and gain weight to be able to have a surgery.
This is baby Aleyah, a day after she was born. She's incubated. Dextrose attached in her tummy and a tube inserted in her mouth.
As much as we want to give everything we have to support Aleyah's medical needs we came in too short in our financial capabilities. Each day, Baby Aleyah needs USD$300 for her medical needs (not including the facilities that will be used during her treatment), and another USD$5,000 for her surgery when she's mature enough to take one.
We are reaching out to every kind soul, to help us in our journey, to save Baby Aleyah's life.
We are currently raising atleast USD$10,500 for Aleyah's surgical fees, medical and ICU/Incubation.
