Campaign Story
My name is Emely Leal, 28 years old and from Quezon City, Philippines. I am 32 weeks when I was rushed in the hospital on December 25, 2017, due to premature contractions. I was admitted and labor progressed despite interventions. On December 26, 2017 at 10:15 pm, Baby JAK (jon arwin karev) born, weighing 1.6 kgs and with respiratory distress after 3 hours of his life. They transferred him to another hospital with complete facilities that will provide health services and management of hos condition.
Baby JAK admitted to NICU, placed in incubator and hooked in mechanical ventilator. They diagnosed him with respiratory distress syndrome and pneumonia. With the complication of premature baby, our baby JAK still admitted to the hospital up to this time. we are patiently waiting for the removal of his ventilator, to cure his pneumonia and to have a good signs of feeding so we can bring him home.
As of now our baby is now on his 8th days in the hospital and our bills is currently 231,000 pesos and increasing a huge amount everyday. Our savings is not enough and we dont have properties to rely on. Im just a contractual nurse with minimum salary. We are currently processing our required documents asking for helps in different government institutions. We hope that they will help us also. We also asked for help and borrowed money from our friends and relatives. Despite the financial help that we are received, we still need it for our baby, he deserves all the chance to survive.
The biggest thing you can give is a testimony that someone cares. Your financial assistance and unwavering support will give our baby a great chance and hope.
Any support is well appreciated. God bless us all.
Tank you.
