Thank you for taking time reading this campaign. This aims to help and fund the medical needs of Jennifer Laud, 34 years old, from Iloilo City, Philippines.

Year 2017, about 3 yrs ago, she was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, Stage 1. She underwent an operation where a 29cm malignant cyst was taken, along with her right ovary, half of her left ovary, and appendix. Her doctor advised for a chemotherapy in order to finally zero out the cancer cells and stop it from reproducing, however, due to financial struggle, she did not proceed with treatment. Instead, after recovering, she decided to have a job, work hard to pay off all the debts they had due to her medical expenses. She took care of herself in a way she knows how and continued living her life, forgetting the danger she might be in since she had no choice under the kind of circumstance she was in that time.

Until this year 2020, her cancer re-occured where she got operated again last September 2. Her ovary and cervix were completely taken out. Once again, her doctor advised to proceed with chemotherapy with a firm warning that she should totally submit to the treatment this time around cause time cannot tell what will happen again next if she will not follow the treatment religiously.

What makes the situation even more difficult is this pandemic where her job as Sales Officer has been greatly affected. Hence, this makes her financially challenged. In addition, her dear mother is also a pneumonia patient (non covid) and is also getting treatment for herself. Thus, this puts her whole family in immense struggle. As of the moment, she hopes and relies to whatever donations and in kind help her relatives and friends would willingly offer.

Having said all these, we humbly ask for any amount of financial assistance to support her medical needs. We know that in this time of pandemic, all are into a difficult situation. But I hope we can at least share and help in extending the life of Jennifer, so she can continue with her dreams for herself and for her family. We may not be able to repay your kindness, but surely, God will. Thank you and may the Lord bless you.

  • Luke 11:9-13 "So I say to you: ASK AND IT WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU; SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND; KNOCK AND THE DOOR WILL BE OPENED TO YOU. FOR EVERYONE WHO ASKS RECEIVES, THE ONE WHO SEEKS FINDS; AND TO THE ONE WHO KNOCKS, THE FLOOR WILL BE OPENED. Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give and good gifts to your children, HOW MUCH MORE WILL YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN GIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT TO THOSE WHO ASK HIM!"
