Campaign Story
My cousin Lou Anthony or LA was diagnosed with C1Q Nephropathy (nephrotic syndrome) in 2008 when he was 20 yrs old and has been suffering from this disease for almost 9 years now. This is a relatively new and rare kidney disease where protein deposits stay in the kidneys instead of being flushed out. He started to grow almost triple his size.
He got better 2 years ago and we thought that their family has been through the worst and that he is now in remission. However, a few months back, the symptoms started to manifest again and he has been tied to the bed since then.
Last Friday, October 13, he was rushed to the hospital because of difficulty in breathing and we thought that it was the end for him. He is currently admitted in Manila Medical Center and is now in the end stage of renal failure. He needs to undergo dialysis 3-4x a week. That's on top of the medications required for him to get better - which costs around 10-15k on a daily basis. There is no known cure for this disease and funds have now depleted drastically. Please help us pray for his healing and we are asking your kind and generous hearts to please help us save him.

As many of you know, he has been suffering from C1q Nephropathy for 9 years. And though we are relieved that he is now in a better place where he wouldnt. . . . .
