Campaign Story
Dear Family and Friends,
I hope this message finds you all well.
As some of you may know, a group of co-workers set out a plan several months ago to climb the highest peak in the lower 48 United States, Mt. Whitney. What initially started as a goal to test our physical limits personally, has been put in perspective by the hardships currently being faced by our neighbors in the Caribbean and Mexico as a result of the hurricanes and earthquakes.
Anything we can do to bring further awareness and assistance to our neighbors in need will go a long way in the recovery efforts and helping them get back on their feet.
Our Team has set a modest fundraising goal of $500 and will be donating 100% (50% each) of all funds to the following:
- 'Fondos Unidos de Puerto Rico' (Hurricane Maria Relief)
- 'DirectRelief.org' (Mexico City Earthquake Relief).
Any amount you can donate as support will be greatly appreciated!
The Whitney Pack will be heading up Mt. Whitney early Tuesday morning (9/26) and thank you all for the support!
