Raising awareness of organ donation through sport for Swisstransplant. On 9 September 2017, Swisstransplant is holding a public celebration on the Bundesplatz in Bern to mark the «European Day for Organ Donation and Transplantation» EODD.

DonateMySport - Salesforce Employee Switzerland Event

You are invited to celebrate with us the importance of organ donation during Organ Donation Awareness Week between the 4th and 10th September 2017.

The DonateMySport is a volunteering initiative brought to you by Salesforce.com with its key aim to educate the public on the principles of organ donation and to highlight the worldwide shortage of donor organs.

How do we plan to raise awareness? Open to Salesforce employees only, the DonateMySport Salesforce Switzerland event is a Fun Run which is being held on Wednesday 6th September at the Salesforce Zurich office and on Wednesday 13th September at the Salesforce Morges office.

By registering your entry fee here for the run you will be helping us to raise well deserved funds to support TACKERS. TACKERS is part of Swisstransplant, the Swiss National Foundation for Organ Donation and Transplantation.

Since TACKERS (Europe) was founded in 2002, fifteen winter camps have been held in Anzère, Switzerland where hundreds of children, from 31 different countries, have participated. The aim is for the children to develop their independence by trying new sports such as skiing, snowboarding, dog sleighing, scuba-diving and para-gliding and to develop a support network to help their families and each other. YOUR DONATION will support the camp TACKERS 2019.

The Salesforce.com 1:1:1 integrated philanthropy model encourages its employees to make a difference in the communities where they live and work. The DonateMySport is one of these Initiatives and has been organised by Salesforce employees who are passionate about raising the awareness of organ donation as well as how sport helps the recovery process of people that have had lifesaving organ transplantation.
