There's a total of 40, 624 people affected by the war in Marawi and an estimated 2,279 are still stranded in the war zone. We are trying to help reunite separated family members, starving and traumatized survivors by using the money to give food, blankets, and basic necessities in 24 identified evacuation centers.

OUR MISSION:

Help us raise enough money. Have an impact where it matters the most.

For every donation of P1,000 or roughly $20, a family will receive rice, noodles, assorted canned goods, and coffee for three days. For just over P1,000 or $20, a family will be given comfort in the form of blankets, sleeping mats, and clean water.

We will purchase the relief goods each time we hit $1,000. This will help, feed, clothe and shelter 49 families. We will upload pictures of the relief goods for distribution in the site once we reach each $1,000 goal.

If you do not have Paypal, Debit or Credit Card, you can still donate OFFLINE. Please check the options below.

UPDATE:

Three municipalities near Marawi City are currently cut off from relief operations because of the ongoing clashes between state troops and the Maute Group. There are around 15,000 evacuees there in dire need of food, water, clothing, medicines, infant food and hygiene kits.

“These three municipalities will be our focus now,” said Jamil Faisal Adiong, one of the organizers of Tabang Sibilyan Visayas Operations. The towns of Ditsaan-Ramain and Buadiposo-Buntong are 20 minutes and 30 minutes away from Marawi City, respectively. The town of Bubong Ramain is an hour away from Marawi City. Tabang Sibilyan Visayas Operations wants to bring at least 15,000 food packs for these evacuees.

“There is shortage of food supply, and we are encouraging our brothers and sisters who are potential donors in Visayas to help,” Adiong added.

As of yesterday afternoon, almost 1,000 food packs were collected at Tabang Sibilyan Visayas Operations Center at the Cebu Caritas Building at Gomez Street in Cebu City. The Tabang Sibilyan Visayas received around P100,000 equivalent of donations in kind, and cash donations of P21,000.

The relief operation center is open 24 hours. Donors are encouraged to give rice, drinking water, halal canned goods, halal noodles, coffee, chocolate drinks, biscuits, infant milk, diapers, hygiene kits and blankets. Clothing should be culturally sensitive.

Clashes between the military and local terrorist groups erupted in Marawi City last May 23. The Maute group torched houses, St. Mary’s Church, the Marawi City Jail, the Ninoy Aquino School, and Dansalan College. Reports said several teachers, a priest and about a dozen parishioners were taken hostage by the terrorist in different areas in Marawi. The military launched surgical air strikes in 3 barangays in Marawi City to flush out some 30 to 40 remaining members of the terrorist Maute group as operations reached the third day (source: Inquirer Latest News for Marawi).
