So the results came back from the check up.
Cancer counts remain stable. No increase but no decrease in the cancer counts either. However, the tumors that have decided to attached themselves to my mothers bones have destroyed most of the bone density in her hips, spine, shoulder and knee joints amongst other places (Little f*ckers). She’s seeing an Oncolytic Orthopedic specialist sometime soon too see what they can do for the deterioration. We remain hopeful that she won’t need a double hip replacement.
The tumor that formed in her liver was removed and zapped with radiation. It hasn’t returned and no spread has occurred (Something to be happy about). Most of the good news is peppered with bad news but all in all it seems to be going okay.
Thank you for all the well wishes, donations, shares and likes We appreciate all the help we can get. It’s been a long journey but there’s still a long way to go. If anything I will fight till my last breath to keep my mother around as long as possible. She means everything to me!

The past couple of months have been rough, but all good things, right? In January we found out that my mother had developed a 1cm tumor on her liver due to the aggressive nature of her cancer. However, the oncologist has managed to stop it in time with a dramatic change in treatment before it spreads.
Today my mother went for an SIRT Liver Treatment which means they have directly injected the radiation therapy into the tumor in hopes that it would destroy the cancer cells in her liver. Due to her stubbornness she is still working and I have never been so proud of her for being so strong! Unbeknownst to her, I have called the liver tumor "Gerald" and much like an unwanted guest, I would like him to leave.
I would like to thank everyone once again for all the well-wishes and support that has been shown during this rough patch in my mothers life. We are eternally grateful for all the amazing human-beings out there!
After my mother’s regular 6 week count check ups. We have received some bad news. The counts are up again and her medication has been re-adjusted to help combat the fluctuation. However, the oncologist is hopeful that her new round of treatment will help combat the increase in cancer counts by her next check up. Her heart arrhythmia has gotten a bit worse and we’re trying to keep that stable. Thank you for the ongoing support in this campaign and all the well wishes we have received over the 4 years my mother has had cancer.
She is a fighter and my rock. We will keep fighting
News from the underground:
Today I find out that my mother has managed to crack two vertebrae due to a tumble she took last week. Not only is she stubborn but also clumsy apparently. We need to get you a bubble suit so there’s no more of this. Love you mom 💋
