We have received and attached the quotation for the chair Joseph is most comfortable with and as you can see it comes in at just over £25k which is a ridiculous amount. However, with the amazing support we have received over the past year from family, friends and the local community, we are very fortunate that we are in the position where we will be able to order this in the next few weeks!

We are now only about £6000 short but we are confident we will reach that with a fundraising gig that is being organised with a local band and comedian and also my friend Naomi’s marathon.

We really can’t thank those of you that have supported us with the fundraising enough. A year ago we had a mountain to climb and we are now nearly at the summit thanks to amazing support from those around us.

We hope we will be able to update you soon with pictures of Joseph in his new chair!

Thanks so much to everyone who sponsored us for the Great North run. It was incredibly hard (especially as we were at a wedding the day before!) but we got round!

We have been overwhelmed by how much has been raised in sponsorship and we are truly grateful to everyone who has donated. It was honestly thinking of Joseph that helped us get round when the going got tough so thank you.

Huge thanks to my good friend Naomi who is making the massive undertaking of running the Manchester marathon in April for Joseph.

She is aiming to raise £2000 towards his new chair and is already well on her way there.

Please see the link to her fundraising page below

Good luck with the training Naomi

Many thanks to the Farmers Arms in Poynton who are donating 5 pence from every pint of Dizzy Blonde sold. We are very appreciative of our local pub supporting Joseph in this way. Particular thanks to Martin the owner of the Farmers and to Matt Jarman who put Joseph forward to receive their sponsorship.
