Save Child

This is my cat, Child.

Child recently had a complication during birthing---which is rare for cats. About 80% of cats give birth without any complication; Child was part of the 20%. We had to have an emergency Caesarian procedure done to save her life and save whatever kitten we could.

All 3 of the kittens didn't make it, the first dead on arrival and the next two dropping away over the next two days under intensive care at the clinic. Child has been stabilized for now but her condition is very poor. Her White Blood Cell count is low and is now anemic. They need to keep her hospitalized and monitored at least 2-3 more days to make sure she can make it, increasing the bill and forcing us to choose between life and money.

Of course we chose her life. She is family.

We have already drained all our bank account savings and home savings to help pay for the emergency surgery and treatment, but we've only barely covered less than half of the outstanding balance. At this point it's not only to help pay for our cat but also to help us survive for the next 3 months.
