I AM NO SPRING CHICKEN

I want to start by saying thank you for taking the time out to read my story. Here is how it all began. I work for a book printing manufacture for the last 21 years. When the economy crashed and businesses started lay people off or closing, I was afraid I was going to lose my job. I watched many of my friends/co-workers escorted out of the building no one was safe. With my husband and me working at the same company and not knowing what was going to happen next, I decided to go back to school. I knew going to school, I would have a large student loan because I did not qualify for a grant. School reimbursement was the first thing the company had taken away so I did not have that option to use. I also did many scholarships with no luck but I still knew that going to school was the best thing I could do. I searched for programs I wanted to take and I have always been interested in computer technology and knew that this was the direction the future was going. In 2012 started at the U of Phoenix and I earned my Associate degree in IT (information technology) in 2014. Although I have earned my associate degree, it is still difficult to find a job with just that degree. It is now 2017 and I have my associate degree with still no luck in finding a job that fits me without having hands on experience. I am 43 years old; I would like to earn my bachelor degree or to do a nursing program but I do not want to be in debt even once retired. With a large loan I have from my associate degree is holding me back from continuing my education. I have dedicated 21 years to this company and I would continue there but I need to further my education to make my life/family life better financially. I have to make sure I am secured for my future for the next 20 years I need to work. If you are not comfortable donating and know of a reputable company where I will succeed please message me.
