UPDATE:
We praise and thank God that He sustained Cicil through 6 cycles of chemotherapy! It was a difficult experience, but He saw her through! We also thank you, whom He touched to provide financial support. Cicil and we, her friends, are amazed at how He used different people to be channels of His blessing. The battle is still ongoing, though. The next step is surgery, to remove Cicil's left breast. She also needs to continue her Herceptin treatment to reduce the risk of breast cancer recurrence after the initial surgery.
Initial cost of surgery is P250,000 and her Herceptin treatment costs P42,000 per vial.
We continue to pray that God will continue to use you to provide for Cicil, financially and through prayers.

Our dear friend and sister in Christ, Cicil, was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer last week. She is only 29 years old, the eldest of three siblings, and as her parents cannot support her medical fees, she needs us, her spiritual family, to help. The tumor in her right breast is about 5 cm and the growth is aggressive (it was only 2 cm in January). She needs to be treated ASAP. The best option offered by her oncologist, Dr. Stella Yap, is 18 cycles of chemotherapy and then lumpectomy. She recommends chemo first to get rid of the cancer cells that may be in other parts of the body and to wait until the tumor has decreased in size to take it out. Attached are her lab results and the breakdown of her medical expenses.
Total Funds Needed: P135,000 for her initial chemo treatment and P90,000 for the next 17 (one chemo treatment after every 3 weeks). P30,000 for the other medicine to decrease the tumor
All these comes to a total of P1,695,000. But just for April, the expenses come to P195,000.

Keep fighting. God is with you. My niece was very ill and we needed a huge money for her medication. A lot of people helped and supported us. Through God's grace, she survived. Due to this, when given a chance, I pass on the kindness we received to those who need it. You are a strong woman. Have faith.
