LOUISE’S FIGHT AGAINST ASD (ATRIAL SEPTAL DEFECT)

1. This is Louise. He's only 10 years old. On Feb 24, 2017, he was diagnosed with ASD (Atrial septal defect). He has a large hole in his heart that needs to be closed surgically in the soonest possible time to avoid serious complications. His heart is now enlarged and his platelets are abnormal.

Cost of the operation is P500,000.00 ($10,000 US) and they are asking for P200,000.00 ($4,000) deposit for him to be admitted to the hospital.

My friend, his mom, is a single mom supporting 3 kids and her only means of support is her job. Their father has long since abandoned his responsibilities and has not supported the children for almost all their lives. As if life has not been hard enough to subsist, Louise’s life is now besieged.
