Campaign Story
One of my closest friends, Gus Zamudio, is on the verge of being deported, and there's nothing left that I can do. Gus is one of the sweetest, funniest, and most precious humans I've ever met. We've laughed together, we've cried together, and we've always been there for each other. He was picked up in the middle of a shift on Sunday by the CMPD and was given two phone calls. One was to our friend Mario, whom he told to let his closer friends, his family, and his boyfriend know what's going on. The other call was to attempt to get a lawyer. He only just turned 18, and he is all alone. All alone in a detention center in Georgia. Gus has been here practically all of his life, and he was supposed to graduate with the rest of us in 3 and a half months, and go to college. Now that's all being taken away. All I can think about is how he must be feeling right now.
All proceeds will be going towards legal fees, supporting his family, and are being used as a safety net for the worst case senario.
Gus- we love you, we miss you, and we're not giving up.
Please share this to spread the word about Gus, as he would do the same for you.

Breaks my heart. So unfair and sad. Hoping for a speedy, welcoming return home. I know he's loved and missed by many people. I don't know him personally, my daughter goes to school with him and I wish there was more I can do. Will be waiting for updates.
