This is an online campaign for our dearest mom, Mama Pening..She was confined at Perpetual Succour Hospital (PSH) for severely infected legs (cellulitis) midnight of February 6, 2017 until present..Her condition as we brought her to the nearest hospital was semi-conscious and unresponsive to visual and verbal stimuli..Mama Pening had also been suffering with Type II Diabetes Mellitus for more than 10 years already..

Mama Pening and my late Papa Deoger were ordinary laborers who had worked hard for us to get a good education despite day to day life challenges..They both raised us 3 children to live a modest life like any other typical family..My parents were able to send us to private schools during high school and college with all their financial struggle taken cared of the best they can.

Papa left us November of 2011 at the age of 65. Since his death, we tried our very best to provide Mama Pening with all her needed maintenance medicines..Everything seemed to be in place since the day i left working for abroad in 2012..Unfortunately our contract ended Mid of 2014..Since I got back home I was invited to work in the Provincial Government of Cebu until December of 2016..I was well provided during my two years but all of a sudden, everything turned out the other way around mid of 2016 that made me decide to resign.

While battling with my own family challenges,my sisters (2) has also been financially broke due to unforeseen circumstances.

My wife and I decided to confine my mom due to worries of complications in the evening of February 5, 2017..Upon arrival at PSH, it was confirmed that our worries turned out to be real..

First week in the hospital went out well with or credit limit raised up to 80,000..Unfortunately, we were advised by the hospital's billing section that they have to close our account for failure to deposit the required amount of cash deposits during our second week.

Though our patient has responded well with her medicines, we are left with not enough financial resources. Mama developed an aspirated PNEUMONIA last February 19th while she was scheduled for hospital check out. Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar were back unstable and on top of it, her hemoglobin count dropped dramatically.

Friends and relatives came in and helped us out with her daily dose of pnuemonia antibiotics. She was stabilized back just yesterday 26 February 2017.

Her physicians again ordered clearance for her check out but all financial help we got from the fund raising were all spent for the prescriptions. As of this wrting, our hospital bill is currently at 145,000 Philippine Peso.

We are trying our best to seek financial/medical assistance from government offices but so far, we are just assured with 1 amounting to P15,000. Though we are far from getting near to our payables, we are exercising every effort to have her back home.

If things work out fine for her release, we still doubt that we can comfortably support her financially for her maintenance meds.

We are sincerely asking for any amount of donations to whoever reads this appeal. We will do everything for mama to extend her retiree life, after all she has raised us well unconditionally during her prime.
