Campaign Story
Once a vibrant and excited farmer. Now a miracle farmer trying to regain her life, health and business and defeat her mysterious blood disorder. After a 7 plus year health battle Carrie was admitted into the hospital in need of blood and numerous other things.
Carrie had originally been diagnosed and treated for Systemic Lupus and a thyroid problem. Yet she never got well only WORSE. After being admitted into the hospital specialist did testing and scans of all sorts. Blood and Bone Cancer were ruled out as well as autoimmune disease. The only conclusion drawn was that she has some sort of blood disorder. Her body makes red blood cells, then they disappear.
Carrie was dismissed from the hospital still crippled, wheel chair bound, and with no resolution of her health issues. The 2 pints of blood Carrie received made her body calm and not restless. Her speech therapy taught her how to swallow and eat again. Physical and occupational therapy taught her how to walk with assistance. What a major feat for Carrie.
Carrie's prognosis for life was grim. She was released from the hospital, doctors not knowing if she would survive. Needless to say, Carrie's strong faith and strong spirit thus far, has rebuked the odds. Now, all her doctors say is keep doing whatever you are doing or they just smile. Carrie is excited that her life is truly a miracle.
Carrie is in need of support for her hospital bill, labs, radiology, Medications/supplements, and outsourced doctor bills. She is uninsured and has received some financial assistance, yet she still has a very large remaining balance.
Please help Carrie with your contribution and sharing her need so others can be a good samaritan. If you would like to make a direct contribution to the hospital on Carrie's account please contact her family. Be blessed as you give to a farm girl who gives to her community in the form of raising produce.
