Hi!
Thanks for taking a look at my page.
Hair for Hope is an empathy raising event, being held at my school (UWCSEA) on 10th February 2017, where students voluntarily get their hair shaved or cut to support and raise awareness and funds for cancer patients.
I've decided to cut most of my hair off to be made into a wig for someone who needs it more than I do. But I would like to do more, and I need your help to achieve my goal. Please support me by donating some money here.
All the money I'm raising will go to cancer patients, who can't afford their own treatment. The money is used for their chemotherapy and rehabilitation costs.
Hair loss is one of the most distressing side effects of chemotherapy, which leads to depression amongst cancer patients. The hair shaving, or cutting is done, in order to raise awareness, show support for cancer patients, and show them they are not alone in their struggle.
