Help Aiden walk

Baby Aiden was born on 07/12/2016 at 39 weeks in perfect health weighing 3.16kgs.

Aiden was born by c section hence Daddy got to see him first and the shock of seeing Aiden Club feet left dad on the floor. This came as a big surprise as non of the scans picked this up and both mom and dad were very emotional.

After consulting with a specialist, it was confirmed that Aiden had 2 clubbed feet and he will need treatment until the age of 4. The good news is that this can be corrected and he will walk perfectly, the bad news is that it is very costly. The medical aid unfortunately does not cover majority of the expenses and therefore funding is required.

We are pleading for assistance from you as Aiden treatment is a long and expensive road as he is in a plaster cast from 5 days old and the cast gets changed weekly for the next 7 weeks (at which stage the specialist will decide if cast for more weeks or move onto next step which is an operation to lengthen the Achilles tendon) at a cost of R2,500 per appointment. The casts is to correct the club feet. Thereafter he will have to wear braces until 4 years old to maintain the feet so they don't go back. The cost of these braces is R 8,000 and it is estimated that he will need a new pair every 6 months.

If we do manage to raise an abundance of what is needed we will be donating these funds to other families suffering with the same condition who are also struggling to finance the medical bills.
