New Born Baby Found Leukemia

My name is Sky Looi and I am raising funds for my son Ethan's medical bill.

My first new born baby boy, Ethan was born at KK Hospital Singapore on 30th July 2016.

On the third day of his life, doctors found out that his white blood cell count was three times higher than normal range.

After ten days of being hospitalized in KK Hospital, Dr Rajat suspected that Baby Ethan had a rare form of Leukemia (JMML).

We decided to go for a second opinion at NUH Singapore and unfortunately our worst fears became reality when Dr Allen Yeoh confirmed that my son had a very rare form of leukemia called Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML).

We are going for a weekly full blood check up and my son's white blood cell reading is getting higher (more than 10 times higher than normal range). Currently Baby Ethan is on medication to control his white blood cell level. Based on Dr Allen Yeoh's recommendation, Baby Ethan needs to have a Bone Marrow Transplant to treat leukemia. NUH is in the process of searching for matching bone marrow and at the same time I am trying to raise fund for my baby's transplant.

We have been told that the medical fee as below

Bone marrow transplant SGD 250K.

Activated natural killers SGD 60K to SGD 80K.

Spleen removed SGD45K.
