While my condition is improving, I have some good days and some not so good days, and the cancer has not gone away yet.

Recent changes in Paul’s situation are reflected below.

As previously, we hope you are able to understand Paul's very difficult situation and continue to offer him the help and support he needs during the next coming months.

All donations are massively appreciated by Paul. Due to the current situation and expected treatments, we are particularly looking for friends who can commit to helping Paul on an ongoing basis, by supporting his specific financial needs. Individual donations are also extremely welcomed!

The Medical Situation: Where Paul is Now

The results from his latest biopsy confirm that he has a cancer tumour in his colon.

As of last week tests have confirmed that Paul is eligible to have the anti-cancer Targeted therapy called Cetuximab (Erbitux) which does Not involve Chemotherapy. This is a treatment that Paul wishes to undergo within the next three months, resources permitting.

To our relief the tests have also indicated that there are no cancerous nodes in his chest or lungs as was previously thought and no cause for any immediate concern This is a very positive development, However we wish to share with everyone that Paul is not fully cured by any means as yet, and still has a classification of a Stage 4 cancer and is still very much reliant on your generous support.

Paul has recently started using a portable Bio Resonance machine at home which he is at the moment renting. This has contributed to a significant improvement in his energy levels and overall mental and physical balance. It is a well-known machine which has been reported to have positive results by many others who have used it in this situation and one person he knows personally.

Paul recently had a very positive meeting with the dietitian who confirmed that his weight has increased and is now at the top of the level he has achieved. He has gained 6kg over the last few months and is now at 67.8 kg. This again is a very positive development. We are grateful for everyone who has supported through monetary contributions as well as your love, time and support.

How Can You Help Paul Now?

Unfortunately, Paul is still in the situation where he is relying on extremely generous friends for temporary accommodation they have and are supplying. He has moved from Sheung Wan to Happy Valley to (now) Causeway Bay in the past few months.

The lack of certainty over where he will be living long term is source of anxiety but we are helping him as best as possible to arrange for longer term accommodation in order to put his mind at ease.

This along with his daily living expenses for food, utilities, medicines and the rental of the bio resonance machine are putting a great strain on Paul's limited resources and this is why he is so grateful for all the help he has received from you all over the past few months.

Funds we are seeking for Paul

The total funds we are seeking to raise for Paul to cover the coming 6 months are:

US$34,000 (HK$266K), which includes:

• Monthly Living Expenses, 6 months, inclusive of food, medicine, utilities, etc (HK$120K)

• Bio Resonance rental, 6 months, including monthly scanning treatment (HK$36K)

• Targeted Anti-cancer Non-Chemotherapy treatment, 6 treatments over 3 month period (HK$110K) for the first phase.

Paul would like to call on you again to help him continue with his recovery by making a further donation to any of the stated expenses above.

Your commitment to making a regular monthly donation (in any amount possible), will be extremely helpful at this time until his situation improves further.

Suggested monthly donation amounts could be: HK$5,000, HK$1,000, HK$500 or any amount you feel comfortable with.

We would also be grateful for anyone who wishes to consider sponsoring one of his needs in a specific amount. For example the Bio Resonance machine which Paul uses daily can be purchased for HK$50K which would mean he no longer needs to pay the monthly rental.

This is a pre-Christmas message to all Paul's dear friends around the world, he has chosen the holistic way to fight his cancer and he is in good spirits. This is the time when he is in more needs of our support in all areas: emotionally, spiritually, especially financially to get through this challenge (he can't work, and the supplements will be expensive with no insurance support). Your kind donation will help enormously to lift off the Biggest stress for him financially & allow Paul to focus on recovery . This is will be a great Xmas gift for Paul Mogg.

We are a bunch of friends raising money for our friend Paul Mogg in Hong Kong who has cancer.

This is the latest update on Paul:

Paul's rectal cancer has been diagnosed to be Stage 4 recently (in November 2016) and unfortunately now it has spread to his liver and lungs. Surgery is not possible as advised by the doctors as it might spread the cancer even faster. The options for Paul medically are: Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy and Target Cancer drugs after seeing the Oncologist on 5 Dec 2016. Paul has researched into these options and feels that these treatments could possibly make him even weaker faster so he is opting for natural therapy options at this stage in time.

Last night (6 Dec 2016) Paul was admitted into hospital for observations (he experienced some bleeding from his rectum - which happens which you have rectal cancer) otherwise he is doing ok and is in good spirits. He hopes to get out soon.

He is very grateful for all the help and donations he has received so far. He is still worried about his living expenses and the cost of natural therapies and supplements (he is taking liquid Vitamin C in high doses, Bio-enzymes to give him more nutrition...etc). He is on a strict no-fibre diet and is limited on what he can eat so he needs a lot of supplementation to keep his body at its best.

Paul is positive in spirits and not in pain. He believes he can get well and heal from his situation. There are people who do and he knows this and he is asking us to help by making donations. So please help to keep Paul to be and not worried about

More about Paul:

Paul is a senior citizen, divorced earlier this year. Paul has a 22 year old daughter from a previous marriage (she is in a couple of pics on this page) and although she is working, she does not have a lot of money to help her dad. Paul is in need of financial help in covering his medical bills, living expenses, supplements...etc. to help him in his current condition. He is unable to work (he is a film director) due to his current condition and so he needs practical help.

Paul is receiving medical attention in Hong Kong through the public hospital system.

Paul has been living in Manila, Philippines previously and so he does not have a physical residence in Hong Kong. He is currently staying at a friend's empty flat temporarily on the HK Island side.
