Every three years, 24 choirs across the globe are invited to participate in the world’s largest international conference for choirs. In July 2017, the 11thWorld Choral Symposium (hosted by the International Federation of Choral Music) will take place in Barcelona, Spain and our choir will represent not only our University and country, but the entire African continent.
Tuks Camerata has an “all for one, one for all” policy and believe that such tours are for all choristers. We do not leave members behind as the Tuks Camerata is an organization for all students. In order for us to make this trip a reality, we have launched the “Send us to Spain, Campaign”. Family, friends, alumni, companies, sponsors and all who believe in the power of choral singing can assist in getting us all there by donating to our tour fund. No amount is too small, so we encourage you to help us with this worthy cause.
