Help this ongoing fundraising campaign by making a donation and spreading the word.Philippine Pet Birth Control Center (PPBCC) together with The Aklan Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Center (AARRC) aims to do a massive spay and neuter project at Linabuan Sur, Banga, Aklan.
There are literally hundreds of dogs that straddle the owned/stray boundary owing to the relatively primitive living conditions of their owners. They were born into families, but poor conditions mean that those families find it hard to give the dogs the care that they need, much less to get them spayed or neutered.
This project started with the help of two young Dutch veterinarians, Nikki and Romy, they are travelling to Nepal and the Philippines to gain experience in the field of spay/neuter and help stray animals during their travels. Nikki has recently graduated from Gent University in Belgium and is presently working at an animal clinic in the Dutch town Eindhoven. Romy is about to graduate from Gent University.
We are trying to raise money to spay or neuter as many dogs and cats as possible. For just $20 you can sponsor one animal and spare hundreds in danger of getting abandoned or abused in the future. Targeting to spay/neuter 100+ dogs/cats in this community is a challenge, but we hope you can help us make this project happen.
Feeding of the owned & stray dogs with mange in the community. The foods are mixed with medicine for mange.
These are only some of the few cases around the community and there are more than a hundred owned and stray dogs which are not spayed and neutered. Help us save their future, we cannot let more of them to have the same fate.
