The Monteverde Institute in partnership with the Municipal Council of the District of Monteverde, the Monteverde Reserve, the University of Giorgia, the Santa Elena Reserve, the Monteverde Friends School, and a group of local residents is working in the replacement of the Quecha Stream’s pedestrian bridge. This bridge is a great necessity for security of the local as well as for the visitors. For that reason we invite you to be part of this effort by making a financial donation to this project.
The total cost of the bridge construction is estimated at $5,000 dollars, from which we have secured a total amount of $3,000. We are $2,000 dollars short to be able to finish this community project.

Re-doing and beautifying the trails around the bridge

We still hope that we will reach our goal by the deadline.Other members in our small community are doing an effort to support this novel cause by cleaning, gardening, and preparing the trails around the Cuecha stream bridge.
