Our love story isn't easy.

We've met at the wrong time and deciding to be together was hard. A lot of tears were cried out. More details are on the notes on my Facebook page. I used to pour it all out through writing.

On December 26, 2011, it was revealed to me that Daryl's going to be the the one I'll share the rest of my life with. Though we officially got together a year after, it's the day that we celebrate our anniversary yearly. It's the day the Lord has made, for us to realize that the one sitting beside us(each other), is the one He gave for us to share lives with.

(here's what the sky looks like on our first date. Do you see the heart shaped cloud?)

(us with our little princess, our baby dog, Agnes)

We're always talking about and declaring that we'll tie the knot when he's 30, and we won't let our 5th year pass. He turned 30 last March, and this year will be our 5th year.

our 2nd year anniversary

(on our 3rd anniversary)

I'm already planning it from the invitation to the guests and how we'll be building up our savings. We even bought our wedding ring 2 years ago (we got it at less than 2000 Pesos).

(We instantly fell in love with this ring. We bought this as our motivation that we should use it soon.)

We're supposed to go abroad last year, that's one way we could save up faster. However, I got offloaded, my passport is still on hold up to now. Both of us weren't able to leave.

our passports

The sad thing is we both quit our job that time to attend trainings because we're ready to go and a job in UAE was already waiting for the both of us. During that time, we've spent all our savings for processing papers and living while we don't have a job yet.

our matching luggages

(we even bought matching luggages but we're now selling them to add some funds)

I had to go through a time that I got depressed since our plan seems to be crashing in front of me. We've spent our savings plus we both don't have a job.

Adding to is is I got sick in April and had to spend a big chunk for medication. I had bleedings and lost 10kg of my weight in just a month. There are also times that after a job interview, I'll go to a mall's foodcourt with tears since I'm just smelling the food because I don't have money to buy myself a meal. I was already thinking that the plan of getting married won't push through 'coz I can't even buy a single meal.

Now my health's back on track and we're both working, finally, an answered prayer. I started in June, and he started this month though he's been driving an Uber car since March (he supported me when I didn't have work and I needed to go on check-ups and buy my medicine). I'm also doing online selling and cooking desserts on the side. We're looking into building our savings again but we're feeling that it won't be enough until December 26, 2016.

We're ready, our minds and spirits are. Our first step is claiming the date. Friends are also pledging to help us with their works. Our only concern now is our finances just to pull this through. I just prayed and I'm just surrendering it all to God now. If it's in his will for us to get married this year, it will happen. And voila, I came across the fundraising site.

attending a wedding of our friend... I literally cried this day...

It's my first time to raise funds, since I always believe in myself that I can do everything through my own efforts. But with God's grace, and a few months before our target, I'm humbled. I've always believed in myself, but now, I have to admit that I can't do it, we can't do it with our own efforts.

I believe coming across this site isn't an accident. I surrendered everything to God, His will be done. We're both praying that what will happen will be a testimony of God's goodness in our lives. What we are doing now is just believing in His power over our lives.

With high hopes and faith, we just believe God will send people to be our fairy godparents who will help this wedding happen. We just want everything simple and memorable since we'll focus more on starting our lives together and building our home :)
