Dr. Subisak’s Cancer Treatment

Friends and Family-

My Chinese teacher, Dr. Subisak, was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer.

Her doctors were able to match her with Afatinib, the chemo drug that can help her. However, her insurance company, Medical Mutual, has denied her prescription and is refusing to pay for her treatment.

Dr. Subisak has been a huge influence in my life since I was 11 years old, and I honestly would not be where I am today without her love and support. She is the best teacher I have ever had, and constantly puts the needs of her students above her own.

Afatinib is ~$7500/month, and I am confident that with enough shares we can raise enough money to buy her one month’s supply of chemo, to keep her healthy until her insurance company prioritizes her treatment!

Dr. Subisak deserves all the support in the world, for she has supported me since sixth grade and shows the same compassion and love to everyone she knows.
