Crohn’s Disease Bucket List # 1 Vixen

Hello my name is George and my health has yet declined again in the past month. The good news is that I have the right meds and the right medical experts that have gotten me healthier. I am even cleared for football and contact sports.

I have suffered with Crohn's for 22 years. This has caused me to be in and out of the hospital dozens of times in just a matter of 6 months. There was a scare that I may have had kidney failure and there is some damage due to years of Prednisone, good news Kidney's are okay.

I know time has an expiration and I am creating a bucket list. This is now on that list.

You see I love to hit but I also love to be tackled to and with my lack of proper health insurance my medical bills increased and made it hard to fund being able to play football the past 2 seasons.

My friends have put in so much work to help with this but I am afraid that financially I will not be able to afford to make it.

I know so many thing are going in this world that perhaps you would like to donate to but please find it in your heart to help me cross of an item on my bucket list. I can't tell you how much this would mean to me.

I have a friend who also plays tackle football. She lives in Minnesota. She is aggressive and hits hard (her words not mine). We started to talk back and forth about the art of tackle and how much fun it is and the adrenaline that accompanies the rush of contact sports. So after this discussion I told her I could most certainly take her hits. She responded by daring me to come to Minnesota and see if I could take her hits.

This now has gotten to teammates who would also like a turn at tackling me. This would also give me a chance to have some fun and be able to enjoy some friends for a change. Happiness is a great thing to have especially with an illness.
