Poppy the boxer dog needs your help

Poppy the beloved boxer dog emigrated to New Zealand with her best friend Alfie (weimaraner) and her two humans all the way from the caribbean!

The trip was long and hugely expensive but fortunately Poppy and Alfies humans found a way to make it work! Both dogs love their new lives in NZ! They love nothing more than galloping along the beach in the early mornings and playing with all the other NZ dogs!

Sadly in the last 12 months both dogs have had to survive the life threatening condition of a twisted gut. Had they stayed in the caribbean they would have died for there was no vet on the island where they came from. Everyone is so grateful to the vets who performed surgery on both dogs and helped them recover, they were nothing short of amazing!

Just when things seemed to be calming down Poppy has now been diagnosed with Soft Tissue Sarcoma, she is undergoing her first surgery tomorrow to remove the tumour.

Poppy really needs some help with her vet bills, her last surgery was only in July and as you can imagine, not cheap!

Please help in any way you can, no matter how small! She has come a long way and loves her lif here with Alfie!
